CSI is a non-profit social service agency that provides foster care, adoption, Supervised Independent Living, and Behavioral Health Care. The services are culturally sensitive to children, youth and families. Our goal is to maximize the strength of the family by delivering services and resources that promote self-discipline, initiative, and independence.
To strengthen communities by developing and providing creative services and working effectively in collaboration with other providers to protect children and youth, and empower them and their families to realize their fullest potential.
702,000 children in the United States are abused and neglected on a regular basis?
463,000 children in the United States live in foster homes?
12,000 children in Philadelphia are truant on a daily basis?
CSI is constantly working to help decrease these numbers. Through the dedicated and compassionate services of staff and foster parents, we are able to reach more than 1,000 children and families annually.
While we’re proud of our accomplishments, we need your help to continue to fulfill our mission. A donation in the amount of lunch for a week, can help us keep pace with the rising costs of the services we provide. Won’t you help us to make a difference in a child’s life? The child you help, just might be the one who finds the cure for cancer.
Your donation is tax deductible and can make an immediate difference!!!

Since 1967 the agency’s charter was changed to provide services to all ethnic, racial and cultural groups of children and families.
